Welcome to Sophie Meredith Jewellery. I starting making silver jewellery after gaining a 1st class honours degree in design in 2006. I get inspiration from many places particularly from our adventures walking along the coast. My designs are inspired by nature and each jewellery item is handcrafted and therefore no piece will be identical. Sophie Meredith Jewellery is unique in design.

Southbourne Silver Jewellery Making Classes
Welcome to Sophie Meredith Silversmithing. I offer a variety of creative experiences, weekend leisure workshops, evening workshops and six week courses.
Weekend Leisure workshops- Looking for a fun weekend? Come and get creative, take time out and join us on one of my 3-4 hr workshops. These workshops are perfect for beginners, no experience is necessary. and these are taught in a fun, relaxed, step by step way to allow you to make one particular piece of jewellery to take home and wear with pride!
I also run longer Six week courses- These are suitable for those looking to develop traditional silversmithing skills. You will get to explore traditional metal/silversmithing. Each week we focus on various techniques allowing you to build and practice forming, filing, soldering, saw piercing , hammer texturing and constructing jewellery. Private Party- Have a special occasion, work team building, family get together s or hen's then why not organise a private jewellery making party. These can be for a minimum of 3 up-to a maximum of 6 per party. We can arrange a date that suits you! Week days and weekends. To discuss in more detail and check availability please click link below!
